Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC Names New Managing Director
Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC recently named Jeffrey Olin, CPA as managing director. Olin’s 25 years of international and domestic tax experience includes advising clients on tax, legal and accounting issues, as well as working with global companies to expand their international operations. Olin graduated Cum Laude from Carroll University with his bachelor’s degree in finance and economics. He also received a juris doctorate from Marquette University Law School and an LL.M. from DePaul University College of Law.
Citrin Cooperman Partner Elected to Board of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Kevin Ryan, CPA, Partner at Citrin Cooperman, was selected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter. Ryan has more than 20 years of accounting experience, providing audit, tax and business consulting services to various organizations. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Temple University.
Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC Adds New Staff Members
Katherine Givens has recently joined the family office department of Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC, and April Johnston joined the LBMC Employment Partners, LLC as HR manager. Givens graduated from Tennessee Tech University with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. In her new role, she will assist individuals and families with their daily personal and business financial matters.
Johnston will work with clients on HR and employee-related matters, such as regulatory compliance, benefits administration and personnel management. Johnston graduated from Lipscomb University with her bachelor’s degree in communications.
EisnerAmper LLP Hires New Principal and Partner
EisnerAmper LLP recently selected Richard J. Gering, CPA, Ph.D as Principal and Dana Smith as partner of its Litigation Services practice. Gering has more than 20 years of expertise in intellectual property disputes, economic damages, lost profits and reasonable royalty. He provides consulting and expert witness services to clients in various industries, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, technology, software and manufacturing. Gering graduated from the University of Natal with his bachelor’s degree in Economics and received his master’s and Ph.D in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Smith will assist clients in fraud investigations, insurance claims, contract compliance examinations and post-acquisition, intellectual property and complex commercial disputes. She has experience in a range of industries including software, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, manufacturing, high technology and financial services. Smith graduated from Bucknell University with her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and received her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
